“Happiness isn’t something you put inside, it’s already there. Sometimes you just need someone to help you find it.”- Poppy Oh what bright fun it was to put together this happy and playful theme. I’ll admit to not being a troll fan, but my daughter just loved the movie. Like Poppy, she is always happy and ready to party and give hugs so she was not backing down. I wanted her party to be just that..happy, bright, and a reflection of character. I used Poppy as our main inspiration but added all the other trolls and colors to make it more fun.
For our cake and sweets table, I added some fun and thematic treats such as rainbow pudding cups, rainbow “troll food” gummy worms, cookies, candy, cupcakes.
A sweets table is never complete without a cake. Ani from Gema Sweets, created the most delicious and adorable cake. The accent rainbow was my favorite detail.
And what’s a Troll party without toll hair? I used tulle to create the “hair” for the jars and cotton candy for the cupcake hair (which fell flat in less than 10 minutes).
With the Trolls craze going on, I was lucky to find the cutest gummy lollipops, jelly beans, and a Poppy gumball machine.
I created a fun and colorful design for the pintables which always add the final touches to the party. Printables included water labels, favor tags, cupcake toppers, and candy wrappers.
